Every six months, C & C partners with ARWCI to test our welders and certify their welding processes. In the days leading up to exam day, one can feel the excitement and tension building around the shop. Not only are these skills exams difficult, but they are also tied to the welder’s performance evaluation and pay.

Welding certifications are a hands-on welder qualification exam that is conducted by certified welding instructor. The exam will determine if the welder can produce a sound quality weld up to the industry standard. At the end of exam day, our welders were certified in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (or “SMAW”) in the 3G, 4G and 6G positions through the American Welding Society (AWS).

Why does that matter to you? Even if your project does not call for a certified weld, you will still benefit from having experienced, certified welders on the job. This gives you the satisfaction of knowing your project will always be well-made, tested, and trustworthy. We at C & C Engineering leave our shop with 100% quality work assurance.
